Through my husband’s work I have travelled to more obscure places than I ever imagined I would. I have lived in Uganda, Singapore (both before I met my husband), Egypt, Denmark and Kyrygzstan. I didn’t intend it this way but, when given certain choices, I let go of the plans I thought I’d made for life and took a new direction.
So, my nomadic life happened unexpectedly. Not everyone would chose that path, but I’ve realised that if you have a go at some aspects of travel that you always considered difficult, you may be surprised. I’m considered adventurous in our playground, but there are many more people taking young children to many more extreme places than me.
